A Quick Introduction + My 2025 Goals

Hello! Welcome to my little corner where I chat about my photography and my personal aspirations!

As you know already I'm Oliver, though some people call me Barney, feel free to call me whichever you prefer!

In 2017 I attended a family member's wedding and, out of boredom, was briefly handed a camera. I decided to wander, capturing moments, little did I know something that was used to pass the time ended up a newfound passion! By Christmas that year I was gifted my first camera of many to come in the future.

Since then I've graduated from Guildford College doing an Art and Photography course and have moved to Salisbury for my creative growth.

Through this blog I invite you to come with me on my development in 2025 as I show behind the scenes into my personal projects, photography and just generally what a year of my creativity looks like.

In this year ahead, I have a few personal goals I'm eager to achieve, that being:

• Go back to college to build my Portfolio

• Go to at least 5 Photowalks

• Take photos in another country

• Take a monthly Self Portrait

• Take on my first commission

• Sell my first print

These are milestones that would give me opportunities to learn and develop even more, I'm excited of whats to come!
